Surakarta, February 6, 2025 – The Faculty of Cultural Sciences (FIB) at Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS) Surakarta held the inauguration ceremony for the Faculty of Cultural Sciences Alumni Association (KAFIB) board for the 2025-2029 period. The event, which took place in the FIB UNS Seminar Room, was attended by several key figures, including the Vice Rector for Student Affairs and Alumni, Prof. Ir. Doddy Ariawan, S.T., M.T., Ph.D., the Director of the UNS Directorate of Alumni and Student Entrepreneurship, Dr. Prasetyani, as well as the FIB deans and heads of study programs within FIB.

This inauguration marked the beginning of KAFIB’s new leadership, headed by Dr. Kandar, M.A.P., Deputy for Archival Preservation, Conservation, and Protection at the National Archives of the Republic of Indonesia (ANRI) for the 2025-2028 period.

Also inaugurated at the event was the Board of the Master of Linguistics Alumni Family (KAMIL), chaired by Rahmaditya Hadifah Abdul Razzaq Wijaya, M.Li. Mas Razzaq emphasized the importance of synergy and collaboration with the Study Program and faculty. “We will strive to establish closer collaboration among alumni, study programs, and the faculty. This is a great responsibility, and we are ready to work together with all parties,” he affirmed.

The inauguration concluded with the signing of the handover minutes and a group photo of all invited guests. With a high spirit of collaboration and commitment, the new boards of KAFIB and the Study Program Alumni Associations within FIB UNS are ready to carry out their mandate to advance their alma mater and strengthen ties among alumni.
